31 Day Challenge - Exercise2Energise

Jo Reeder is raising money for Age UK Suffolk.

Jo's Story

No more can we use the excuse of no time - and for many of us, the change in the way we work is meaning less moving about or generally keeping active in the day.
Join us in a 31 day challenge throughout May, by undertaking a short exercise based activity each day (no more than 30 mins each day, most are much less!) and donating £1 for each day of exercise to the Age UK Suffolk Good Day Calls Emergency Fundraising Appeal.

During the current crisis, Age UK Suffolk's planned fundraising activities have been cancelled or postponed, paid for services have been suspended - all while seeing a huge increase in demand for support from older people across Suffolk. Please help us to ensure that we can be here for older people when they most need us. Thank you.

About Age UK Suffolk

Everything that we do is centred around improving the lives of older people across Suffolk: • offering free, confidential & impartial help • a helping hand at home • friendship to combat loneliness • time out of the house for those living with memory problems It costs around £2 million each to deliver vital services and support, including Information & Advice, Befriending, Community Links, Home Help and The Chilton Club. As an organisation, we do not receive any statutory funding which means that we rely on the support of local businesses, community groups and individuals to support our work, as well as organising our own events to raise awareness of the importance of what we do. Every penny that we raise in Suffolk, stays in Suffolk.
